Funding to support innovative applied or participatory research in community health by encompassing a broad definition of health that incorporates lifestyle, social, physical and economic environments, health promotion and disease prevention. Promotes partnerships and collaborations between researchers and community organizations, agencies and institutions and promotes the dissemination of acquired knowledge amongst community organizations, agencies and institutions.
